Andrew Hurley, Walk-On Senior Guard, Contributes to Huskies Championship Victory

Father and Son Share Unforgettable Experience

When UConn needed to dribble out the shot clock toward the end of Tuesday's 75-60 win over Purdue, head coach Dan Hurley turned to his son, Andrew.

Hurley's son is a senior on this year's team. His dad said winning another title together was an experience he won't forget.

"It's been an unbelievable journey," said Dan Hurley. "I'm so proud of my son. He's worked so hard to get to this point. He's a great kid and I'm lucky to be his dad."

Andrew Hurley is a walk-on senior guard for the Huskies, so father and son get to make a second championship push together in this unique situation.
