Whitestone Gallery Singapore is proud to present Journey to the..., an exhibition of contemporary art that explores the intersection of old master paintings and contemporary art theory. The exhibition features works by a diverse group of international artists, all of whom have been inspired by the iconic images and themes of Western art history.
The exhibition takes its title from the famous painting by Johannes Vermeer, The Art of Painting. In this work, Vermeer depicts an artist in his studio, surrounded by the tools of his trade. Journey to the... will be on view at Whitestone Gallery Singapore from January 6 to March 3, 2024. The gallery is located at 39 Keppel Road 05-0306 Tanjong Pagar.
Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11am to 7pm.
